Groundwater Resources of Williams County 1984-86

Mr. Kidston has said the aquifer is recharged with every rainfall. The most recent study of the groundwater resources of Williams County covered the years 1984-86. In that 106 page report carried out by the U.S. Geological Survey entitled “Water Resources Investigations Report 89-4021,” it states on p. 53:

  • Of the 34 inches of annual precipitation that falls on the county on the average, about 2 to 8 inches eventually becomes groundwater.
